Who will wield Green Lantern's light?

The Hollywood Reporter is...reporting...that actors in the running for Hal Jordan in the Guggenheim/Berlanti-scripted Green Lantern movie has narrowed to three - Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds and Justin Timberlake.

Egads.

Of the three, I'd prefer Cooper to get it - Reynolds is good, but I'd rather have him as Deadpool or, god willing, Wally West. Timberlake I haven't seen act (although I can't imagine that he's particularly good) but I just don't see him having the physique or requisite...what's the word I'm looking for?...manliness to play a fearless figher pilot.

He doesn't exactly scream testosterone to me. You want Hal to bust a move and dance Peter Parker off the screen, sure. You want him to be a tough guy? No.

Cooper on the other hand, is already pretty built, can do comedy and drama, and brings less baggage to the role.

No question - if its down to those three, Cooper.

I'm not much of a fan of Justin Timberlake's music, but as a performer, he's great. He has comedic timing. His episodes of Saturday Night Live are always entertaining. Plus he did a nice dramatic turn in Black Snake Moan. Go Timberlake.

i would watch Alpha Dog, if you want to see Timberlake's acting ability, you will be quite surprised on how good he is!
