L'il Batman's horrific origin

Superman/Batman is a book I haven't picked up in years, in spite of liking both Superman and, er, Batman.

The simple reason was that it never felt like the stories 'counted' in the grand scheme of things (well, as grand schemes go). It's the same reason I dropped The Brave and the Bold. Maybe a good story isn't enough - maybe these days I need a little bit of...consequence.

I think I may be kidding myself that any stories have consequence.

Anyway, I don't pick up the book - but at this rate I may pick up the current arc:

Look! It's a L'il Superman and a L'il Batman! And better than that is L'il Batman's horrific origin...

Honestly, this is just a whole lotta fun - maybe consequence isn't that important after all...
