DC Movie News and...Wonder Casting returns!

Lots going on in the world of DC movies lately...

Green Lantern seems to have got the go-ahead with Greg Berlanti directing. Variety has a brief article referencing Hal Jordan here - although it also refers to him being the 1940s GL so, y'know...

Flash has a new director with David Dobkin according to AICN - spoilers from the upcoming JLA movie are included in the article, as the Flash movie will be a sequel.

Lots of good JLA info here, also from AICN - spoilers, obviously. This is actually beginning to sound not awful!

Speaking of JLA, Wonder Woman may have been cast in the form of blonde virtually unknown Aussie Teresa Palmer - who'll apparently be wigging up for the part...

Oh, and the solo Wonder Woman movie that was once to have been penned by Joss Whedon? Dead, according to producer Joel Silver - at least for now...

Wolf Creek and 2:37 were big deals for Australian cinema, but geez...

Can't say there's been a single convincing moment in the lead up to this thing. Leave it be...

If only they'd kept Flash on the rails with Goyer. That was really sounding like a great addition to the DC movie dynasty! But, no no, let's distance ourselves from Marvel's Millar, and let Goyer drift off to a Magneto movie...

Here's to Winchester as Martian Manhunter. Maybe Shaq's available to reprise Steel for this high-calibre project, too...
